The IAAPA Expo Opening Ceremony utilized the Sony FX6 for multi-angle stage coverage, with an integrated Blackmagic ATEM live-switching system to manage real-time production feeds. Aputure lighting kits and Sennheiser wireless mics ensured consistent illumination and professional-grade audio across a large-scale venue.
Editing, color grading, and transitions were handled in Adobe Premiere Pro, while the highlight reels were refined in After Effects for corporate playback. Event graphics, sponsor slides, and titles were developed in Photoshop and Illustrator to match IAAPA’s branding standards.
The IAAPA Expo 2023 Opening Ceremony marked the kickoff of one of the world’s largest international attractions and amusement industry conventions, hosted annually in Orlando, Florida. As Show Runner and Assistant Editor, I coordinated the live event’s production flow, ensuring seamless timing, visual transitions, and technical execution across a multi-camera setup.
Working closely with the production and editorial teams, I oversaw cue management, content playback, and stage coordination for keynote segments and live audience engagement. In post-production, I assisted in editing highlight reels and refining final deliverables to capture the excitement and energy of the opening experience.
This high-profile event required exceptional precision, real-time problem-solving, and creative collaboration—skills that allowed me to help deliver a polished, dynamic broadcast that set the tone for an international audience of industry leaders and innovators.
