Production for the Winter Park “Ye Olde Hometown” Christmas Parade incorporated a multi-camera Sony setup (FX9 & A7S III) to capture both wide community shots and intimate performance moments. On-site lighting rigs and wireless audio systems supported live coverage for broadcast and post-edit highlights. Editing and event recap sequences were produced in Adobe Premiere Pro, with animated graphics and sponsor overlays designed in After Effects and Photoshop.
As Producer and Director for the 71st and 72nd Annual Winter Park “Ye Olde Hometown” Christmas Parade, I led the full-scale production of one of Central Florida’s most beloved holiday traditions. The parade, hosted in partnership with the City of Winter Park and the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, attracts thousands of attendees each year and serves as a celebration of community, creativity, and holiday spirit.
I oversaw all aspects of production, including show flow coordination, live event direction, camera operations, volunteer and crew management, and post-production editing for broadcast. My focus was on maintaining the event’s long-standing charm while elevating its visual storytelling through professional multi-camera coverage and cinematic framing.
The result was a seamless live event experience that highlighted local organizations, schools, and cultural performers, while delivering a polished final broadcast for on-demand viewing. Each year’s production not only strengthened community engagement but also expanded visibility for Winter Park as a destination for family-friendly events and cultural experiences.
